Practice Prohibited While on Inactive Status

Any attorney previously admitted to the Bar of this Court who no longer is enrolled as an active member of the Bar, Supreme Court, or other governing authority of any State, territory or possession, or the 12/1/2025 Chapter I - 120 LOCAL RULES - CENTRAL DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA District of Columbia, shall not practice before this Court. Upon receipt of reliable information that such attorney is practicing before the Bar of this Court, this Court shall issue an Order to Show Cause why the attorney should not be disbarred from this Court, and shall proceed with the Order to Show Cause in the manner set forth in L.R. 83-3.2.1.
