Orders for Transcript from Official Court Reporters

(a) All requests for transcripts from any proceeding held in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan shall be in writing and addressed to the court reporter for the District Judge before whom the matter was heard. (b) A copy of a transcript must not be represented as an official transcript of a court proceeding unless a court reporter of the court or electronic transcriber performing services for the court certifies the transcript. The Clerk shall post and make available upon request the schedule of fees approved by the Judicial (c) Conference of the United States and this Court.
