In addition to the clerk’s authority to issue orders under Fed. R. Civ. P. 77(c)(2), the clerk may issue the following orders without further direction from the court: (a) Stipulated Motions. Orders granting stipulated, non-dispositive motions that do not alter a previously established deadline; and (b) Criminal Scheduling Orders. Scheduling orders in criminal cases if a judge is absent or unavailable.
