(a) NOTICE. The parties must immediately file a notice after agreeing to resolve all or part of a civil action, even if the resolution is contingent or unwritten. (b) DISMISSAL. When notified of an agreement to settle a civil action, a judge may dismiss the action subject to the right of a party to move within a stated time to re-open the action for entry of a stipulated final order or a judgment or for further proceedings.
