(a) Authority for Bankruptcy Judges to Conduct Jury Trials. The United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, by order entered November 18, 1994, designated each of the Bankruptcy Judges of this Court to conduct jury trials pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §157. (b) Consent to Have Trial Conducted by Bankruptcy Judge. If the right to a jury trial applies and a timely demand has been filed under F.R.Civ.P. 38(b), the parties may consent to have a jury trial conducted by a Bankruptcy Judge under 28 U.S.C. § 157(e) by jointly or separately filing a statement of consent no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the initial pretrial conference.
