(a) Failure to Notify the Court of Settlement. The court may order the parties to pay juror costs (including marshal's fees, mileage, and per diem) in a case if: (1) the parties settle or otherwise dispose of the case before trial; and (2) the clerk’s office is not notified at least 1 full business day before the trial is set to begin. (b) Division of Juror Costs. The court may divide juror costs among the parties, their attorneys, or both in its discretion.
