An attorney may be disciplined pursuant to these rules for the following types of misconduct: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) violation of the rules of professional conduct of this court; willful, recurrent, or egregious violation of these local rules or any order of the court; failure to notify the court promptly of a criminal conviction or disciplinary action as required by L.R. 83.5.6(b); conduct that resulted in disbarment, suspension, or any other attorney disciplinary action in another jurisdiction; a conviction for a serious crime, as defined in L.R. 83.6.8; or conduct that resulted in a continuance without a finding in a matter involving a charge of a serious crime, as defined in L.R. 83.6.8.
