In all appearances, actions and proceedings within the jurisdiction of this Court, attorneys shall conduct themselves in accordance with the Rules of Professional Conduct and the Standards of Professional Conduct adopted by the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and the Model Rules of Professional Conduct published by the American Bar Association, and shall be subject to the statutes, rules and orders 34 applicable to the procedures and practice of law in this Court. These rules provide minimum standards for the conduct of attorneys and the Court encourages attorneys to conform their conduct to the highest ethical standards. Judges and others serving in a judicial capacity are expected to comply with the Code of Conduct for United States Judges adopted by the Judicial Conference of the United States. Judiciary employees of this Court shall comply with the Code of Conduct for Judicial Employees, also adopted by the Judicial Conference.
