Definitions

In these rules: (A) “this District” or “the District” means the Northern District of Florida; (B) “the Clerk” means the Clerk of Court, Northern District of Florida; (C) the “Court” means an assigned judge in a case; (D) an “assigned judge” includes each judge assigned to a case (and in most cases, this includes both a district judge and a magistrate judge); (E) a reference to any kind of written material or any other medium includes electronically stored information; and (F) references to an “attorney” include a party proceeding pro se unless the context clearly indicates the contrary.
