Hearings on contested matters will be conducted by affidavit. A party may request an evidentiary hearing at which witnesses will testify, by motion filed at least 7 days before a hearing is scheduled to occur. Witnesses cannot testify during a telephonic hearing. Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b), and 26(a), (d) and (f) do not apply in contested matters.

Local Rules 7016-1(B), 7033-1, and 7037-1 apply in contested matters.
