(a) Who Is Subject to Discipline. Any attorney authorized to represent a party before the court may be disciplined under N.D. Ind. L.R. 83-6.1 through 83-6.13. (b) Scope of Discipline Rules.
These discipline rules (N.D. Ind. L.R. 83-6.1 through 83-6.13) do not apply to or limit: (1) (2) sanctions or other disciplinary or remedial actions authorized by the Federal Rules of Civil or Criminal Procedure; or the court’s inherent or statutory power to maintain control over the proceedings conducted before it, such as contempt proceedings under Title 18 United States Code or under Fed.
