ATTORNEYS (a) Admission. Applicants for admission must pay an admission fee of $239.00. An attorney who is appointed to represent a party proceeding in forma pauperis may appear in the case without being admitted to the bar of this court. (b) Reciprocal Discipline.

When a court or other disciplinary authority has disbarred or suspended an attorney, and the attorney does not respond to an order to show cause or does not oppose reciprocal action by this court, the chief judge may enter a final order imposing similar discipline. If the attorney responds to an order to show cause and opposes the imposition of discipline by this court, then the matter will be referred to a three-judge panel for such proceedings as may be warranted and final disposition. -25- Cross-References: FRAP 46; 8th Cir.
