Additional Discovery Obligations of the Government
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia
(a) Notice to Prosecution Team. Prior to arraignment, the attorney for the Government shall inform all federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation and prosecution of the discovery obligations in these Local Rules and obtain any information subject to disclosure. (b) Preservation Obligations. The attorney for the Government shall advise law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation and prosecution to preserve all contemporaneous notes, memoranda, statements, reports, surveillance logs, recordings, and other documents memorializing matters relevant to the criminal case.
