ACTION IN ABSENCE OF ASSIGNED JUDGE

In the absence of an assigned Judge, any other Judge who is available may act temporarily in the absent Judge's place. To obtain the assistance of an available Judge, the parties must communicate first with the chambers staff of the assigned Judge and, if chambers staff is unavailable, then with the Clerk. Comment This rule is derived from Former Local Bankruptcy Rule 6. This rule is intended to assure that the business of the Court will not be impeded by the absence of an assigned Judge.
