=== Notice Regarding Conduct of Hearings Before Judge Maria L. Oxholm December 2, 2024 === NOTICE REGARDING CONDUCT OF HEARINGS BEFORE JUDGE MARIA L. OXHOLM December 2, 2024 Until further notice, the following procedures will apply to conferences, hearings and trials before Judge Oxholm: With the exception of Chapter 11 proceedings, trials and dispositive motions in adversary proceedings, evidentiary hearings in contested matters, or unless otherwise noted in the applicable Notice of Hearing or by separate court order, all hearings in cases pending before Judge Oxholm will be conducted by telephone. • At least five minutes before the scheduled time for hearing, counsel and parties should call (202) 503-1666 and use Access Code 966805625#. Landline connections are much preferred, but cell phone or other telephone services are allowed. Counsel and interested parties should place their phone on mute and wait until their case is called before unmuting their phone and participating. • An in person hearing may be requested via stipulation or motion. With respect to the conduct of telephonic hearings, the following procedures will apply: • Anyone who has dialed into a court hearing shall place their telephones on mute until their case is called and it is their time to address the Court; • ANYONE WHO DIALS INTO A COURT HEARING IS PROHIBITED FROM PLACING THE COURT CALL ON HOLD; • Any failure to abide by these procedures that results in a disruption of the court hearing may subject the offending person to sanctions, including fees incurred by other counsel present on the telephone that would otherwise be charged to their respective clients resulting from the disruption or delay.
