Criminal Cases: All questions regarding criminal matters should be directed to Judge Parker’s Courtroom Deputy, Jennifer Chittum, at 325-690-3972 (direct) or 325-677-6311 (main).

Civil Cases:

• Procedural Information – Non-substantive procedural questions that cannot be answered by the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the Local Civil Rules of this Court, or the Court’s orders may be directed to chambers at 325-676-4582. Please do not call chambers to ask for any action by the Court.  The proper means of requesting a ruling or other action by the Court is through the filing of a properly supported motion.
• Status of Pending Motions - Please do not call seeking the status of a pending motion. If there are extenuating circumstances regarding a pending motion that should be brought to the Court’s attention, please file an appropriate notice or motion.
• Unless specifically ordered or the parties are seeking an agreed protective order, Judge Parker does not require proposed orders. When a proposed order is appropriate, it must be submitted in Word format to [email protected].
• Judge Parker does not require a judge’s copy for documents filed by electronic means.
• Questions related to the technical or operational aspects of filing or the CM/ECF system should be directed to the Clerk’s Office at 325-677-6311.
