Ex-parte motions are referred to chambers as soon as possible. For contested motions, Judge Edwards does not maintain a regular motion date, but may order oral argument. The clerk will issue a notice of setting advising when the motion will be considered.

Judge Edwards is accepting law clerk applications for the 2027-2028 term.
Applications should include a cover letter, resume, writing sample, two letters of recommendation, and a law school transcript.
Applications may be submitted by mail or through OSCAR.

Video Conferences

Video Conferences:

Pretrial and status conferences before Judge Edwards will be held by video unless otherwise requested by the parties or ordered by the Court. Instructions to access the conference will be sent by the clerk's office to all counsel of record.

Attorneys are required to comply with Local Rule 83.2.15 regarding Courtroom Appearances.

Attorneys are required to notify the Court in advance if they cannot participate by video. Participation by telephone only is not permitted without permission from the Court.
