Abstract

The law school edition of the Mercer University Bulletin which Brainerd Currie must have thumbed through at his home in Augusta in 1932 was the first one in many years that did not contain either an architect's rendering or, at least, a handsome photograph of "one of the finest law school buildings in the South." It was "the first building that Mercer law school has ever had as its very own," the dedicatory speaker boasted. ".... We expect it to mark an epoch in the life of the institution."
