Abstract

Dear Arthur: Your family misses you. Your law firm misses you. Yale Law School misses you. The nation misses you.

You left us much too early, and, since you've been gone, we struggle every day to fill the void you left behind. As Shakespeare wrote, all in all you were a man, but we will never see the likes of you again.
