Arbitration Rule 4. Withdrawing from Arbitration After the hearing has commenced, no party may withdraw from the arbitration unless: (1) all parties consent and the arbitrator approves; or (2) the arbitrator directs a termination of the proceedings. COMMENT TO 2018 AMENDMENTS This rule has been amended consistent with the stylistic changes to the civil rules. Additionally, the rule now requires the arbitrator’s approval even where all parties consent to withdrawal from arbitration.
