For a willful noncompliance with any material or substantive requirement of these rules or Act No. 1205, Acts of Alabama, 1975 Regular Session, any official, officer or employee of the Unified Judicial System subject to these rules may be held in contempt of court by the Supreme Court, or by any court of competent jurisdiction, after reasonable notice of such noncompliance. [Amended 9-28-87, eff. 10-1-87.] Comment This rule is applicable to employees of the judicial system. Justices and judges are subject to disciplinary action pursuant to Ala.Const.Amend. 328 and the Canons of Judicial Ethics. This Rule replaces former Rule 41.
