WATER COURT PRACTICE AND PROCEDURES

4 Rule 2(a). Citation. These rules shall be known as the Water Right Adjudication Rules and may be cited as Rule __, W.R.Adj.R. Rule 2(b). Application of other rules. Unless the context of these Rules requires otherwise, the Montana Rules of Civil Procedure (M.R.Civ.P.), the Montana Rules of Evidence (M.R.Evid.), and the Montana Uniform District Court Rules govern the practice of the water courts. Unless the context requires otherwise, the definitions in Rule 2, W.R.C.E.R. apply to these Rules. Rule 2(c). Water court. The term "water court" in these practice and procedure rules includes water judges and water masters.
