inform the defendant of the complaint and ensure the defendant receives a copy of it. The defendant must inform the magistrate whether the name and address shown in the complaint are the defendant’s true and correct name and address. If the defendant gives no other name, the defendant is thereafter precluded from objecting to the complaint on the ground of being improperly named.
