Compliance with the requirements of this rule governing petitions for certiorari is mandatory. (1) Notice of intention to apply for certiorari filed in the Court of Appeals is governed by the rules of that court. A copy of the notice of intent is not to be filed in this Court. (2) The petition for certiorari shall be filed with the Clerk of the Supreme Court within 20 days after the date of entry of judgment or the date of the disposition of the motion for reconsideration, if one is filed, along with payment of the filing fee when required by Rule 5.
