COMMENTS TO § 6-1114 Rule 14 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure governs third-party practice. In Nebraska, third-party practice is governed by statute. See Neb. Rev. Stat. § 25-331. Section 6-1114 was included in the Nebraska Court Rules of Pleading in Civil Cases without any text so that the numbering of the rules corresponds to the numbering of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. § 6-1114 amended November 13, 2024, effective January 1, 2025.
