Contents of Writings, Recordings, and Photographs Rules of Evidence Contents of writings, recordings, or photographs may be proved by the testimony, deposition, or written admission of the party against whom offered, without accounting for nonproduction of the original. Advisory Commission Comments. This rule dispenses with the original document requirement in the circumstances described.
