Delaware Uniform Rules of Evidence

Rule: 401

Jurisdiction: DE

Bluebook Citation: D.R.E. 401

Evidence is relevant if: (a) it has any tendency to make a fact more or less probable than it would be without the evidence; and (b) the fact is of consequence in determining the action. Comment This rule tracks F.R.E. 401. D.R.E. 401 was amended in 2017 in response to the 2011 restyling of the Federal Rules of Evidence. The amendment is intended to be stylistic only. There is no intent to change any result in ruling on evidence admissibility.
