Submission of Dispute to Prelitigation Farm Nuisance Mediation

(a) Mediation shall be initiated by filing a Request for Prelitigation Mediation of Farm Nuisance Dispute, Form AOC-CV-820 (Request Form), with the clerk of superior court in a county in which the action may be brought. The party filing the Request Form shall mail a copy of the Request Form by Certified Mail, return receipt requested, to each party to the dispute. (b) The clerk of superior court shall accept the Request Form and shall file it in a miscellaneous file under the name of the requesting party. History Note. 373 N.C. 772.
