Settlement/Resolution Before Mediation

1. In the event the foreclosure issues are resolved before the scheduled mediation, the parties must, not later than 2 business days prior to the scheduled mediation date, advise the mediator of their settlement. The parties shall send to the mediator a copy of the settlement agreement to attach to the mediator’s statement. If the matter has not been settled in writing and signed by both parties, the parties shall attend the mediation so that the record may be memorialized. Any settlement will not result in the refund of fees. [Added; effective June 1, 2010; amended; effective January 13, 2016.]
