Section 1. Statement Of Policy

It is the policy of the Supreme Court of North Dakota to promulgate procedural rules, administrative rules, and administrative orders for the unified judicial system of North Dakota, to provide an effective procedure for the continuing study and review of rules and orders of the Supreme Court, to provide notice and opportunity to express views regarding proposed and adopted rules and orders, and to provide a mechanism for the amendment and repeal of existing rules and orders. The Supreme Court will exercise its authority to adopt, amend or repeal procedural rules, administrative rules and administrative orders and to prescribe methods and procedures required in connection therewith.
