These rules govern all criminal actions in the district courts of the State of Nevada. The purpose of these criminal rules is to provide uniformity in practice among the various district courts. These rules supersede and replace any local district court rules concerning criminal actions. They are intended to provide for the just and fair administration of criminal actions. They shall be cited as “N.R.Cr.P.” These rules do not apply to juvenile proceedings or post-conviction proceedings. [Added; effective March 1, 2021.]
