(a) In General. These rules govern all proceedings before the United States Court of Federal Claims pursuant to the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 300aa-1 to -34 (Vaccine Act), including proceedings before the Office of Special Masters subsequent proceedings before a judge of the Court of Federal Claims. and any (b) Matters Not Specifically Addressed by the Vaccine Rules. In any matter not specifically addressed by the Vaccine Rules, the special the master or applicable practice, consistent with these rules and with the purpose of the Vaccine Act, to decide the case promptly and efficiently. the court may regulate (c) Applying the RCFC. The RCFC apply only to the extent they are consistent with the Vaccine Rules. (As revised and reissued May 1, 2002; as amended July 13, 2009.)
