Scope of Part Three

(a) Part Three of these rules (Rules 301 through 305) applies to requests to the supreme court to exercise its discretionary jurisdiction provided in AS 22.05.010(d) to review decisions of the court of appeals. (b) Part Three also applies to requests to the supreme court to exercise its discretionary jurisdiction provided in AS 22.05.010(d) to review decisions of the superior court in appeals from the district court. (c) Part Three also applies to requests to the court of appeals to exercise its discretionary jurisdiction provided in AS 22.07.020(e) to review decisions of the superior court in appeals from the district court.
