Scope and application of Rules

(a) Scope and application in Supreme Court. —These Rules shall govern all proceedings in this Court. Unless otherwise provided or the context precludes such application, the rules relating to appeals set forth in Parts II and III of these Rules shall be applicable to other proceedings under Part IV of these Rules. (b) Application to trial courts. —All courts in this State shall adopt rules consistent with applicable Rules of this Court.
