Review of small claims actions. Except where the action involves an interest in real

estate, a case originally tried as a small claims action may not be appealed to the supreme court. Any appeal must be made to the district court as prescribed by Iowa Code section 631.13. An action originally tried as a small claim may be reviewed by the supreme court only as provided in Iowa Code section 631.16 and rule 6.106.
