Except as otherwise provided in these rules, or as ordered by the judicial authority, depositions shall be sealed by the authority taking them and returned to the clerk of the court in which the prosecution is pending, who shall file such deposi- tions. Any deposition returned unsealed or with the seal broken may be rejected by the judicial authority who ordered its taking. (P.B. 1978-1997, Sec. 800.)
