When a document to be filed in paper form, such as a stipulation, requires the signatures of multiple parties, the original signature of at least one party must appear on the document filed in the reviewing court; the other signatures may be in the form of copies of the signed signature page of the document. Electronically filed documents must comply with the relevant provisions of rule 8.77. Rule 8.42 amended effective January 1, 2016; adopted effective January 1, 2014.
