(a) A person who is entitled to apply for the appointment of a guardian for a minor may petition the court for a rule to show cause why the guardian representing the minor in an action should not be removed and another guardian be substituted. (b) The petition shall be in substantially the same form as the petition for the appointment of a guardian under these rules and shall set forth the reasons why the substitution should be made. (c) The court upon the petition, or on its own motion, shall make such substitution when it deems the same advisable.
