Court of Appeals Rule 3. Record on Appeal. (a) The record on appeal shall be referred to as the record, which may be abbreviated "R". It shall be composed of volumes of not more than 150 pages each. All references to the record shall be by volume and page number. (b) The record shall be captioned as in the trial court, except that the caption shall specify the position occupied by each party in the trial court and on appeal.
