A. Within 12 months of being admitted to the ASB, every lawyer subject to these rules shall complete a 3-hour course in professionalism. B. Lawyers claiming an exemption under Rule 2 shall likewise be exempt from the requirements of this rule so long as they remain exempt. Lawyers must complete the course in professionalism during the calendar year following the year in which the exempt status ends. C. This rule shall be waived for any attorney serving on active duty with the United States Armed Forces. D. Violations of this rule shall be governed by Rule 8.
