(a) Absolute Privilege. In accordance with N.C.G.S. § 7A-377(a2), information or testimony provided to the Commission is absolutely privileged and shall not form the basis of a civil action against a complainant, witness, or their counsel. (b) Immunity of Members and Staff. In accordance with N.C.G.S. § 7A-375(e), members of the Commission and its staff are immune from a civil action that is based upon conduct undertaken in the course of their official duties.
