(a) PRETRIAL CONFERENCES; SCHEDULING; MANAGEMENT. Fed. R. Civ. P. 16 applies in an adversary proceeding. (b) DETERMINING PROCEDURE. On its own or a party’s timely mo- tion, the court must decide whether: 91 FEDERAL RULES OF BANKRUPTCY PROCEDURE Rule 7023.1 (1) to hear and determine the proceeding; (2) to hear it and issue proposed findings of fact and conclu- sions of law; or (3) to take other action.
