West Virginia Trial Court Rules
Where original documents exist, parties not represented by an attorney and attorney User shall retain original documents until five (5) years following the final disposition, including appeals, of an Action. Any court may order production of original documents. For these purposes, retention includes either paper or portable document format (pdf).
