1. The board of bar examiners shall have the power to conduct hearings on the qualifications of applicants for admission and may take and hear relevant evidence, administer oaths and affirmations, and compel by subpoena the attendance of witnesses and the production of books, papers and documents, subject to the Supreme Court Rules. 2. Any member of the board of bar examiners may administer oaths.
