Habeas Corpus Any officer having charge of a person who is arrested upon an extradition warrant for delivery to another state and required to attend court upon a writ of habeas corpus shall be entitled to receive the same fees and expenses as such officer would receive for presenting a prisoner before the court for trial, and such fees and expenses are to be paid to such officer by the officer of such other state upon the surrender of the prisoner or, if the prisoner is released, they are to be taxed and allowed him or her at the next term of the court in the judicial district or geographical area where such prisoner was held.
