(a) Before exercising the functions of judicial hearing officer, a person so designated shall take and file with the Chief Administrator of the Courts a sworn statement that such person will faithfully and fairly do such acts and make such determinations and reports as may be required by the designations as a judicial hearing officer. The statement shall be in the form as set forth in subdivision (b) of this section. (b) Sworn statement of hearing officer.
