Notice of Settlement

When any action in which any pleading or other document has been filed is settled, counsel shall immediately advise the appropriate assignment office, and shall also advise the office of the judge or judicial officer assigned to the case or then assigned to hear any matter relating to the case. This new rule, derived from current local rule provisions, makes explicit what courts now expect and which common courtesy requires.
