Notice of Appearance Submitted by Defense Counsel

Defense counsel must submit a completed notice entering the attorney’s appearance within 3 days of the attorney's appointment or retention. The notice must state the attorney's name, address, email address, telephone number, and, if applicable, D.C. Bar number. COMMENT TO 2020 AMENDMENTS This rule has been amended consistent with the general restyling of the federal rules in 2002. The provision addressing withdrawal has been deleted because this subject matter is covered by Rule 57’s incorporation of Civil Rule 101.
