(a) REQUEST FOR AN ORDER. A request for an order must be made by written motion unless: (1) an application is authorized by these rules; or (2) the request is made during a hearing. (b) FORM AND SERVICE OF A MOTION. A motion must state its grounds with particularity and set forth the relief or order re- quested. Unless a written motion may be considered ex parte, the movant must, within the time prescribed by Rule 9006(d), serve the motion on: • the trustee or debtor in possession and those entities speci- fied by these rules; or • if these rules do not require service or specify the entities to be served, the entities designated by the court.
