(a) Each motion to strike must be accompanied by an appropriate memorandum of law citing the legal authorities upon which the motion relies. (b) If an adverse party objects to this motion such party shall, at least five days before the date the motion is to be considered on the short calen- dar, file and serve in accordance with Sections 10-12 through 10-17 a memorandum of law.
